Marty Steer is currently the Technical Lead for the Digital Humanities at the Institute for Historical Research. His research interests include Digital Humanities, Computer Science, Future Web technologies, digital preservation, information-centric networking, semantic webs, data mining, machine learning, and cognition. He has supported and worked on some eighteen research projects in these fields, using his expertise in Computer Science to take Humanities research to the cutting edge of what is possible with today’s technologies.
